Jennifer Makris, MBA, known as the Cannabis Cash Queen, is a respected industry leader with more than 20 years of experience in sales, logistics, and cash management. When cannabis was legalized in Florida in 2016, Jennifer quickly identified critical gaps between financial institutions willing to serve marijuana-related businesses, the availability of secure cash-in-transit solutions, and the lack of standardized education around on-site cash handling.    Drawing on her background in high-risk, highly regulated, and cash-intensive industries, Jennifer became a trusted advisor to cannabis operators seeking to build secure, scalable financial operations. Her ability to translate complex challenges into practical, business-driven solutions has made her a go-to subject matter expert in cannabis cash, payments, and banking strategy.    In 2022, she founded Cannabis Cash Consultants, where she advises license holders on optimizing cash handling, payments, and banking relationships to improve efficiency, reduce risk, and support sustainable growth.
