Phoenix Fermin is a Community Herbalist, Regional Director at the Florida School of Holistic Living – North Branch, and Director of Education at Lichgate on High Road, a historic site in Tallahassee, FL. She has worked with patients firsthand at a Florida cannabis dispensary and for the Chief Medical Officer with Medical Marijuana Treatment Clinics. Currently, she maintains the greenhouses for Biological Sciences at a state university campus facility, which supports research in plant and animal ecology, plant physiology, cell and molecular biology, and genetics. Phoenix teaches topics in herbalism and holistic health that offer Continuing Education Units to Nurses, Acupuncturists, Massage Therapists, Dietitians, and Midwives. She is a Certified Yoga Instructor, children’s book Illustrator and Author for AppleTree Institute in Washington, DC.
